MAKE Literary Productions and partners present the third annual Lit & Luz Festival in Mexico City– a one-of-a-kind series of events featuring renowned authors and visual artists from Chicago and Mexico City in cultural exchange and conversation. This series of readings, conversations, artist talks, performances which culminates in a Live Magazine Finale, highlights new translations and artistic collaborations—showcasing some of the most innovative contemporary writers and artists from both countries.

The Lit & Luz Festival of Language, Literature, and Art’s grand finale is an exclusive night of debut collaborative performances from teams of Mexico City and Chicago participants.
Con Luis Felipe Fabre and Joel Craig. Hosted by Daniel Borzutzky.
This hour-long variety show features theater, video, live music, installation, and performative readings in Spanish and English.
The event will move between Spanish and English and through the theme, “(Anti-)Static.”
